Crafting the True Story: An Exploration of Creative Nonfiction

Acclaimed journalist, teacher and story coach Jacqui Banaszynski continues her work of creating lifelong writing communities at this five-day gathering.  Fieldwork, in-class exercises and peer critique are all part of this event and participants will also have the opportunity to work one-on-one with Banaszynski, a Pulitzer prize winner.

The Pulitzer Prize winner and visiting faculty member of The Poynter Institute boasts over 30 years of experience as a respected writer and editor. She most recently served as as associate managing editor of The Seattle Times, where she was in charge of special projects and staff development.
